The Cloud: Enabling creativity in filmmaking

“What Dropbox does is allow me to focus on my content and be more creative because I’m not wasting time.”

The words of filmmaker Jimmy Gadd, a Dropbox user who recently dropped by to see us at the Broadcast Video Expo in London.

And according to Jimmy, whether it’s working on a production in the US, UK or Middle East, filmmakers need to be able to share and sync files in real-time, to ensure production costs stay low and projects run on track.

He went on to tell us how the cloud helped him be more creative, and more profitable, when shooting and editing his new short film, Bound for Greatness.

You can watch our video with Jimmy above.
